Now Playing: Ellis Park, Frozen in Time You're listening to an instrumental called "Ellis Park, Frozen in Time."  Ellis is a beautiful river-side park in Cedar Rapids; this song is a response to a moment when this area was iced over in the deep of winter. I wrote it - with the help of the BQ and Jr. Phil - last year.  "Ellis Park, Frozen in Time" comes packaged with a dozen other ambient instrumentals, each a reflection of a place in Eastern Iowa.  It's very calming, healing music; you can learn all about it by clicking here.  We named the project in honor of our Iowan great-great grandmother, who grew up playing on the banks of the Cedar River 150 years ago.  The recording is available on i-tunes; I hope you like it, and even leave a review!  It's a "cottage industry" for us, and we'd appreciate your support.
